ASIS CT WORKS FOR THE FUTURE OF CITIES
Asis Elektronik continues to realize its smart city activities under the brand “ASİS CT-City Technologies”. Maintaining an export-oriented growth with its activities in 13 countries of the world and 81 provinces of Turkey, Asis CT participated in the Smart Cities and Municipalities Congress and Exhibition held on January 15-16 with its vision sharing and new products.
Smart cities bring together city infrastructure and technology to improve quality of life. Cities of the future have started to build their foundations on technology. Asis CT, which provides services in 65 locations, 17 of which are metropolitan cities, has also shaped its work in this direction. Asis CT, which realizes all system and equipment production with domestic and national facilities, introduced its turnkey solutions created with the special projects it has taken part in and the professional experience it has gained for the first time in Ankara ATO Congresium.
Asis CT, which wants to increase its services and work for municipalities with the aim of being present in every region of Turkey, has developed technologies in the fields of Mobile Camera Systems, Person & Passenger Counting Systems, Electronic Fee Collection Systems, Digital Information Systems, Smart Bicycle and Scooter.
Growing export targets in 2020
Emphasizing that they continue their domestic and international activities without slowing down in line with their vision of shaping the future of cities by creating technological added value, Fatih Gündoğan, General Manager of Asis CT, said, “We carry the technology of the future to the cities of the world with our export activities. For the last two years, 20 percent of our turnover consists of exports. With the goals we set for ourselves, we have made our brand a global playmaker. Among our 2020 goals is to increase our export activities and to obtain 50 percent of our turnover from abroad. We believe that we will progress by multiplying our success in line with this goal.”
“We offer smart systems to Turkey”
Stating that they cooperate with municipalities in order to facilitate city life, Gündoğan said: “We operate in 81 provinces in Turkey. We want to expand the regions where we have smart city solutions. Currently, one of the issues we stand out in the country and in the world is our smart card works. Our systems are used in 21,500 vehicles in Turkey and abroad. We have 16 million cards and 6 billion transactions. In addition, we are preparing a mobile transportation platform that people will not be able to put down in the near future.”
Stating that they aim to create a rich pool of options in the focus of smart cities, Gündoğan said; “We are working on a smart city platform where municipalities will make life easier in line with the data they will obtain from both transportation vehicles and other sensors such as environment and energy. We also have pioneering works in the fields of Smart Bicycle and Scooter.”
Gündoğan mentioned that smart city studies should be measurable and sustainable with a holistic approach and emphasized that data and analysis are important in this context. He said that as Asis CT, they look at cities as a whole, offer end-to-end services and support municipalities in the creation of smart city strategies.
