Focus on the Indian market
Domestic technology company Asis Elektronik has decided to carry out its smart city activities under the brand ‘ASİS CT-City Technologies’.
The company is carrying out projects in 13 countries around the world. Among these, it is possible to count projects such as the Kochi Metro Rail project in India and vehicle system integration in three different groups: train, bus and metro in Sofia.
Fatih Gündoğan, General Manager of Asis CT, said that exports have accounted for 20 percent of their turnover for the last two years and that they aim to increase their export share to 50 percent this year.
Gündoğan states that they will especially focus on India and that they have undertaken the technology part of the Mumbai metro.
He also said that the region starting from North Africa, covering the Arabian Peninsula and India, and then to China is their target market.
“In India, our devices and software are used in four cities, namely Mumbai, Koçi, Amritsar and Indore,” says Gündoğan.
