The results of the ‘Top 500 Informatics Companies Survey’, one of the comprehensive surveys in the field of informatics in Turkey, have been announced. Once again, ODTÜ TEKNOKENT companies Netaş, Koçsistem, Innova, Havelsan, Asis Elektronik, Arvento, Aydın Yazılım, Ulak Haberleşme, Biznet, Esen Sistem, Başarsoft, Simsoft, Milsoft, Erbul, YD Yazılım, Ordulu, Beam, Armakom, Verisis, BTech, Dvm, Bites Savunma, E-Kalite and Enetki were among the best companies in ‘Informatics’.
The opening speeches of the ‘Top 500 IT Companies Turkey 2019’ award ceremony, which brought together important names and institutions from all areas of the sector, were delivered by Dr. Ali Taha Koç, President of the Presidential Digital Transformation Office, Dr. Ömer Fatih Sayan, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Dr. Hakan Yurdakul, Member of the Presidential Economic Policies Board, Mehmet Ali Akarca, General Manager of KoçSistem, and Süreyya Ciliv, President of Kuika and System Optima. According to the research, the total turnover of 500 companies reached 133 billion TL. As every year, BThaber Newspaper prepared special awards this year. ‘BThaber Friendship Award’ was presented to Tuncay Işık and ‘Women’s Hand in Technology Award’ was presented to Zehra Öney.

At the ceremony, where each company competed in its own lane with a changing and evolving category structure, and where a total of 99 awards, including special awards, were presented to their owners by providing live connection to each of them, 11 Distributors, 24 System Integrators and Business Partners, 12 Representatives of International Manufacturers in Turkey, 27 Turkey-based Manufacturers, 10 PLUS and 6 Special Awards for Contribution to the Turkish Economy were given.
