Technology of world cities from Turkish company
Turkish company Asis Elektronik smartens the world’s cities with its “ASİS CT-City Technologies” brand.

Fatih Gündoğan, General Manager of Asis CT, stated that they have realized smart city projects in 13 countries and said, “The region starting from North Africa, covering the Arabian Peninsula and India, and then to China is our target market. We will especially focus on India. India will invest 150 billion dollars in five years for smart urbanization. In India, we undertook the technology part of the Mumbai metro. Our devices and software are being used in four cities, namely Kochi, Amritsar and Indore. With our transportation solutions, we operate in different countries from Greece to Portugal, Pakistan to Turkmenistan. For example, the devices used in the subway in Athens are ours. In Sofia, there is a vehicle system integration project in three different groups: train, bus and metro.”
Developing technologies in the fields of mobile camera systems, passenger counting systems, electronic toll collection systems, digital information systems, parking lot management automation and smart bicycles and scooters, Asis CT has a 40 percent market share in electronic toll collection systems in Turkey. Stating that they provide services at 65 points, 17 of which are metropolitan cities, Gündoğan said, “Our smart cards are used in a total of 21,500 vehicles in Turkey and abroad. We reached 16 million cards and 6 billion transactions. We enabled the use of NFC in public transportation in Şanlıurfa for the first time in Turkey, and our Bonus Trink Credit Card Integration in Public Transportation project in Samsun was a first in Europe.
