Turkey’s Value Adders Announced
The top 500 companies in the IT sector, which contributes significantly to Turkey’s development, have been announced.

The Top 500 IT Companies Research, the only comprehensive research in the field of IT in Turkey, has been finalized. According to the results of the research, which was held for the 20th time this year and which includes many innovations this year as every year, successful companies received their awards at a ceremony held at Istanbul Grand Pera – Emek Stage on Thursday, July 4. The opening speeches of the “Top 500 IT Companies Turkey 2018” award ceremony, which brought together important names and institutions from all areas of the sector, were delivered by Dr. Ömer Fatih Sayan, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Dr. Hakan Yurdakul, Member of the Economic Policies Board of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, Baher Esmat, ICANN Regional Manager, Hakan Özyürek, Member of the Board of Directors and Executive Board of Asis Elektronik, Mehmet Ali Akarca, General Manager of KoçSistem and Murat Göçe, President of BTHABER Group of Companies.

Mr. Murat Göçe, President of BTHABER Group of Companies, started his speech by thanking all the guests and said, “We are announcing the results of our research, which is the product of eight months of work, this evening. If we look at the last 20 years of IT 500 data; In 1999, the total revenue of 500 IT companies was 11.7 billion dollars, in 2018 results, this figure was 24.9 billion dollars, and the 20-year growth from 1999 to this time is 113 percent in dollar terms.
