Asis CT opens up to the world with smart cities
Realizing smart city projects in 13 provinces in Turkey and 13 countries around the world, Asis CT aims to generate half of its revenues from overseas markets in 2020.

Asis CT carries out major projects in 81 provinces of Turkey and 13 countries of the world.

The world’s leading cities have started to invest much more in smart city technologies for reasons such as security, reducing costs, and making urban life more modern.” According to the information given by Fatih Gündoğan, General Manager of Asis CT, Asis CT stands out with its technologies developed in the fields of mobile camera systems, person and passenger counting systems, electronic toll collection systems, digital information systems, parking lot management automation, smart bicycles and scooters, and aims to reach every corner of the world by accelerating its R&D activities.
Underlining that Asis CT has contributed to the country’s economy with its export activities by signing numerous large projects such as the “Kochi Metro Rail” project in India, vehicle system integration in three different groups including train, bus and metro in Sofia, Fatih Gündoğan said, “17 metropolises, 22 cities

India is in the focus of 2020
Stating that they have developed solutions for different countries of the world and that they have further increased their export targets in 2020, Fatih Gündoğan stated that 20 percent of their turnover has been exports for the last two years. “We will especially focus on India. Currently, we have undertaken the technology part of the Mumbai metro. The region starting from North Africa, covering the Arabian Peninsula and India, and then to China is our target market. With our transportation solutions, we are active in different countries from Greece to Portugal, Pakistan to Turkmenistan. For example, the devices used in the subway in Athens are ours. In India, our devices and software are used in four cities, namely Mumbai, Koçi, Amritsar and Indore.”
Talking about the work they have carried out in Sofia, Gündoğan said, “In Sofia, there is a vehicle system integration project in three different groups: train, bus and metro. We entered and won the tender for connecting these vehicles to each other and managing the devices there. We are working with Sofia Municipality in a consortium partnership. At the same time, we have completed the second phase of our Sofia Project in Bulgaria. In this phase, we exported our systems to be integrated into 1150 vehicles. We have exported a total of 3,551 systems so
we have completed our exports.”
Turkey’s smart transportation is also from Asis CT
Asis CT, which has a 40 percent market share in electronic toll collection systems in Turkey, provides services at 65 locations, 17 of which are metropolitan cities. Starting to develop software and hardware for controlled access systems, Asis CT develops software and hardware for people counting systems and security systems, and offers face recognition services using artificial intelligence technologies in its systems. It also develops an in-vehicle security system called “Karakutu” for buses, providing an important solution in terms of security.
Stating that they provided the use of NFC in public transportation in Şanlıurfa for the first time in Turkey, Gündoğan said:
“With this technology, we have implemented a system that enables mobile payment in transportation. Our Bonus Trink Credit Card Integration in Public Transportation project in Samsun was a first in Europe. Our TUBITAK project on Barrier-Free Access to Transportation Vehicles is also among our important works that we should mention in this context. Our Smart Bicycle Systems will be used in Kilis Municipality. At the moment, we stand out with our smart card works throughout the country and in the world. Our systems are used in 21,500 vehicles in Turkey and abroad. We have 16 million cards and 6 billion transactions. In addition, we are preparing a mobile transportation platform that people will not be able to put down in the near future.”
Asis CT’s focus is on R&D activities

At the same time, we aim to offer cities a rich pool of options in the focus of smart cities.”
