Speaking at the press conference organized by Asis CT, Gündoğan said that they developed solutions for different countries of the world and further increased their export targets in 2020.
Noting that 20 percent of their turnover has consisted of exports for the last two years, Gündoğan said, “In 2020, we plan to make 50 percent of our turnover from abroad. We will especially focus on India. Currently, we have undertaken the technology part of the Mumbai metro. The region starting from North Africa, covering the Arabian Peninsula and India, and then to China is our target market.”
Stating that they have activities in different countries from Greece to Portugal, Pakistan to Turkmenistan with our transportation solutions, Gündoğan said, “For example, the devices used in the subway in Athens are ours. In India, our devices and software are used in 4 cities, namely Mumbai, Koçi, Amritsar and Indore.”
Gündoğan said, “Apart from the Indian market, there is a vehicle system integration project in Sofia in three different groups: train, bus and metro. We entered and won the tender for connecting these vehicles to each other and managing the devices there.”
3,551 system exports completed
Stating that they are working with Sofia Municipality in partnership with the consortium, Gündoğan also said that they have completed the second phase of the Sofia Projects in Bulgaria, and that they have exported their systems to be integrated into 1150 vehicles in this phase. Gündoğan stated that they have completed a total of 3,551 system exports so far.
Stating that they provided the use of NFC in public transportation in Şanlıurfa for the first time in Turkey, Gündoğan continued his words as follows:
“With this technology, we implemented the system that enables mobile payment in transportation. Our Bonus Trink Credit Card Integration in Public Transportation project in Samsun was a first in Europe. Our TUBITAK project on barrier-free access to transportation vehicles is also among our important works that we should mention in this context. Our Smart Bicycle Systems will be used in Kilis Municipality. At the moment, we stand out with our smart card works throughout the country and in the world. Our systems are used in 21,500 vehicles in Turkey and abroad. We have 16 million cards and 6 billion transactions. In addition, we are preparing a mobile transportation platform that people will not be able to put down in the near future.”
Gündoğan noted that they continue to work with the contribution of more than 100 R&D employees with regional representative offices in Ağrı, Aydın, Balıkesir, Bursa, Çorum, Diyarbakır, Erzurum, Eskişehir, Hatay, Manisa, Sakarya, Samsun, Trabzon, Şanlıurfa, Van and Yalova, with Istanbul as the center.
