DSM detects potential risks by analyzing drivers eye movements, head positioning and facial expressions. The system’s main purpose is to help the drivers to focus and prevent crashes. For example, if the driver is sleepy or distracted the system will detect these events and provide feedback to the driver with sounds or vibrations. This technology can be used especially in long journeys or commercial transportation to increase security.
