Reaching 12 countries around the world with turnkey solutions in smart city technologies, ASİS CT renewed the fare collection system in Kütahya Municipality Private Public Buses. With the contract signed with Kütahya Municipality, Kütahya residents entrusted their new smart fare collection system to Asis CT.
Implementing the ‘National Smart Cities Strategy and Action Plan’ in 81 provinces, Asis CT, which develops smart city solutions at home and abroad, signed a contract with Kütahya Municipality to make Private Public Buses smart. Within the scope of the contract, Asis CT will deliver 300 validators, 5 Kiosks, 10 Smart Stops, 1 mobile application and 1 web application to Kütahya Municipality.
With the smart fare collection system installed by Asis CT, Kütahyalı citizens can see information such as where is the nearest bus stop to their location, how many minutes later the bus will arrive at the bus stop, and the bus lines passing through the bus stop they are at via the mobile phone application akillibiletim.com. At the same time, with the new system, citizens can pay by credit card and cell phone. With smart fare collection, payments can also be made via NFC and QR code. Within the scope of the project, work is underway to make the bus stops smart and very soon the bus stops will also include information on which bus will arrive and when.
