VIDEO MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR MILITARY LAND VEHICLES

 

VMS-101

Video Management System for Military Land Vehicles (VMS-101) aims to increase driving safety and environmental awareness of vehicle users. The VMS-101 provides images in daytime and night time conditions and regardless of illumination. It transfers these images instantly to user monitors and saves them.

SYSTEM COMPONENTS

  • Driver Monitor 
    It is a 7” monitor where the images coming from the Video Recorder and Controller (VKKC-1002) can be viewed to improve driving safety and environmental awareness of the driver.
  • Commander Monitor 
    ​​​​​​​It is a 10” monitor where the images coming from (VKKC-1002) to improve the environmental awareness of the vehicle’s commander. 
  • Staff Monitor 
    ​​​​​​​It is a 10.4” monitor where the images coming from (VKKC-1002) to improve the environmental awareness of the in-vehicle staff.

Cameras and Other Accessories       

  • In-Vehicle Camera 
    It is used to capture in-vehicle images. It should be positioned to see the the staff on the vehicle.
  • Forward-Looking Camera 
    It is used to capture images in front of the vehicle. 
  • Rear-Looking Camera 
    It is used to capture images from the rear of the vehicle.
  •  360° Vision System
    Vision system used to ensure driving safety allows the staff in the vehicle to see all objects and obstacles around to facilitate maneuvering and avoid hitting especially in case the obstacle cannot be seen from the vehicle. The system has 4 cameras.
  • GPS Antenna
    It is a tracking system developed to monitor the position of the vehicle electronically from the screen.
  • Video Recorder and Controller 
    This system directs the video signals coming from the cameras in the vehicle and allows them to be record them on a fixed platform and viewed on this platform. The images transferred to the USB flash memory can be viewed via display systems such as computer, media player. This system enables the images to be viewed live from the command monitor connected to a digital video recorder (DVR).
